The Kia Soul is almost the personification of a car designed for a purpose, looking more like a van for passengers than a family car. And that isn’t going to change much with the 2014 Kia Soul, but this time the Soul gets based on the latest Cee’d and grows in size, so it should be a more appealing drive. With more modern car underpinnings, the new Soul should ride better and be more dynamic, with better suspension and a stiffer body shell making the Soul a very practical family car, but one which at least offers a little joy in the drive.
Aston Martin has confirmed production of the V12 Zagato – yours for £330,000, plus local taxes. It will build just 150 examples will be hand-built at Gaydon, with first deliveries expected in summer 2012. An aluminium and carbonfibre body is designed to echo the 1960 DB4 GT Zagato.
MOTOR MANUFACTURERS have given strong backing for the UK staying in the European Union, citing benefits including business links and free movement of labour. A survey by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) showed that 92% of automotive firms believed that staying in the EU would be best for their business, although most wanted to see reforms.
